Ty Schwamberger

Ty Schwamberger is a fresh voice in the horror genre. His first novel, Night School, was published in November 2008.

In addition to his first novel, he has a short story collection that will be coming out late 2010, as well as, several other short stories published online and in print magazines. A short story of his, Cake Batter, was optioned for a short film in late 2009 and is currently in Post Production and should be released in the coming weeks.

Ty’s been interviewed by the likes of; Fear and Trembling Magazines, Withersin Magazine, Blood Moon Rising, The Horror Writer Magazine and Hellnotes. He is a part-time faculty member at the University of Akron where he teaches a class on writing and publishing in the horror genre. He also writes a monthly column, ‘Ty-ing Up The Genre’ on Hellnotes.
